The session of the Board of Directors of the Association of Sea Trade Ports was held on December 12, 2024 at the Federal Agency for Maritime and River Transport.

The Association includes more than 80 stevedoring companies, shipowners, design and engineering bureaus, insurance companies and information and analytical agencies, educational institutions. The Association carries out its activities with the aim of assisting its members in protecting their interests in the areas of technical regulation, legal and organizational conditions for the operation of sea terminals related to the implementation of investment projects, development programs for port infrastructure, also production and operational activities, environmental regulation, environmental protection and nature management, as well as in other issues directly related to the port industry.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Transport and Development of Transport Infrastructure Viktor Deryabkin, Deputy Minister of Transport Alexander Poshivai, Head of Rosmorrechflot Andrey Tarasenko, Association members, representatives of candidate companies for membership in the Association, General Director of Construction Dredging Company LLC Aleksander Bengert.

The Board of Directors discussed a wide range of issues on summing up the results of the port industry in 2024, the activities of the Association of Sea Trade Ports and interaction with the Ministry of Transport of Russia in the field of legal regulation. Also, as part of the consideration of the block of organizational issues, the Board of Directors reviewed and approved the application of Construction Dredging Company LLC to join the association.

The issue of including new members in the Association based on the approval of the Board of Directors will be considered at the general meeting of the Association, which will be held in 2025.
